Trinity United Methodist Church

Rev. Jeremy Noffsinger

Lead Pastor

By the grace and love of Jesus, I am a husband, dad, and pastor. I grew up with a plan; at ten years old, I wanted to be a long-haul truck driver. At fifteen years old, I changed my mind. My new adventure would be physical therapy, but it only lasted three years. At eighteen years old, I had made my final decision; I wanted to go into federal law enforcement. I attended Berry College. I studied sociology, political science, and psychology (1997). In the process of preparation for Quantico, I worked a summer at YMCA Camp High Harbour. One summer turned into ten years of service. I found my call while driving a camp bus and serving the various needs of campers and staff. Every career that I pursued prepared me for the future God had for me. My call is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. A phone call from a local UMC plucked me out of the YMCA and helped me to further identify the calling on my life. I graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2017 with a Master of Divinity. I served Clayton First United Methodist Church from 2010-2019 as a Local Pastor. In January 2020, I was appointed to Trinity UMC. I am an elder in full connection in the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Youth Ministers

We are so excited to serve at Trinity UMC as the youth pastors

and to have the privilege to pour into the middle schoolers

and high schoolers. Outside of church, Derek works as a Sales Manager at Coker Equipment and Sarah is a Physician Assistant. Together we enjoy cheering on the Dawgs, trying new recipes, and spending time with family.
