Time Flies
So, what's on my mind?
Wow! This week marks one year since I was appointed to serve as your pastor at Trinity. In some ways, it feels like I’ve been part of the Trinity family for years. From the very beginning, you have loved on me and my family, welcoming us fully into the life of the church. And in other ways, it still feels brand new. I was just telling someone today that I still have to pinch myself—I can’t believe Trinity is my first full-time appointment.
I have prayed for you hundreds of times…and will continue to do so. There have been fifty-something sermons, fifty-something of these newsletters, a full year of church seasons, countless phone calls and visits, and many sacred moments of walking alongside y’all through both grief and celebration. I am thankful for the blessing of each and every one of them.
So from me and my family––thank you, Trinity, for the prayers, the support, the encouragement, and for laughing at my dad jokes. And thank you for an amazing year. I look forward to many more.
May God hold you,
Rev Chris Hester
