Good Times, Good Fellowship

Monthly family night suppers bring neighbors together for fun, fellowship, and food. The United Methodist Women’s annual Christmas Bazaar offers some of the finest crafts and gifts from talented artisans. The festivities of the Sweetheart Banquet and the Youth Appreciation Banquet are always entertaining and enlightening. The annual homecoming brings out the best in good fellowship and good eating. Weekly Sunday Church School classes are places of sharing and insight as we study God’s Word.

Children are important at Trinity. In addition to a full-service nursery, Trinity offers children’s church a wonderful Church School program. All children are welcome in worship which includes a children’s message, and children are always invited to receive the sacraments during communion. Seasonal opportunities include Christmas programs, children’s choir, Easter programs and an egg hunt, and Vacation Bible School. All parents are encouraged to participate and observe all our Children’s Ministry study and activities.

The Youth Ministry is a vital component of our work for the Kingdom of God. Youth are dealing with the realities of middle and high school and they bring their best insight to help one another under the leadership of our youth ministers, adult counselors, workers, program of our teens. Parents of our youth are encouraged to participate or observe all our studies and activities.

The United Methodist Men help families rebuild from storm and need. They have a true sense of mission to help the homeless and elderly with building projects including houses from scratch. The men are actively involved at Camp Glisson and have completed several work projects there.

The United Methodist Women are active in ministry to the church and the community with the Trinity Meals on Wheels program and numerous other projects. Directly and through community affiliates, Trinity has helped countless families with immediate financial and personal needs. The UMW has been sponsoring two missionaries on the field in Sierra Leone and has assisted one Volunteer In Mission with his work in Liberia.

In addition to these outreach ministries, Trinity offers many opportunities to serve within the church as Teachers, Counselors, Sponsors for those received on Profession of Faith, Lay Readers, Singers, and Musicians… just to name a few.

Trinity Youth and Children are encouraged to participate in worship as Lay Readers, Acolytes, singers, musicians, and ushers.

Singers and musicians find joy and spiritual nurture as they offer their gifts and talents to the worship of Almighty God in the midst of this congregation.

Trinity offers a place to join in and make a difference. A place for you to serve awaits your arrival.
